This racetrack has many interesting things to see. No other Formula 1- racetrack in the world goes right through a hotel. The racetrack was completed in 2009 and initiated in the same year with the Grand Prix. This race takes place every year and it offers special highlights, like no other: a roofed place for an extraordinary race experience, a 60-meter-high tower, which provides a clear view of the whole racetrack. In other Formula1 racetracks, tire walls are used as crash attenuators, but in the Yas Marina Circuit Abu Dhabi racetrack, the newest technology of air-filled plastic cushions is used. The run-off area is placed under the enormous U-shaped spectator platform, giving a more intense experience. The racetrack was developed by German designer and architect Hermann Tilke. During the tour, you will be able to have a look behind the famous scenes of the Formula 1 race and visit the premises of the race makers, the stop pits, the ultra-modern media center, the Formula 1 paddock and the harbour on Yas Island: Yas Marina, after which the tour is named.
