Our journey continues to Masdar City, an ambitious project for an environmentally oriented “Smart City” in the region. We explore the science city, which only uses renewable energies. A solar power plant with a production of 17,500-megawatt-hours per year makes this settlement independent of other power sources. We take a short tour with fully automatic electric cars.

The buildings were built in the style of traditional Arabic architecture, in which the buildings were built tall and close to each other to provide shade for each other.
