The Kai Beach Saadiyat just opened. It’s located where Saadiyat Public Beach used to be and is now managed by Saadiyat Beach Club.
There are no reservations and entry is on a first-come first served basis.

Great Beaches in Abu Dhabi: Hudayriat Island
This huge island opened its beach in 2018 and is home to one of the best beaches in Abu Dhabi. The rest of the island remains untouched, the space just over the hulking Hudayriat Bridge is a popular spot. There are food trucks and sports facilities on the island and the 600-metre-long beach is free to use for the public. There are also three new slipways for boats and jet skis, plus Circuit X Skate Park making it a must-visit for thrill-seekers in the capital.

Great Beaches in Abu Dhabi: The Bayshore Beach
A 300-meter-long sandy beach at the InterContinental Hotel with a palm garden and water sports facilities. If you don’t live in the hotel, you can buy a day pass for the beach and use it to go to the hotel pool and the hotel’s gym.

Great Beaches in Abu Dhabi: Radisson Blue Beach Club Corniche
This beach belongs to the Radisson Blue Hotel Corniche and is at the western end of the Corniche. You can reach the beach via an underground tunnel. There are plenty of water sports on offer and the attentive beach staff bring cool drinks and food (on your own bill).

Zaya Nurai Island
Zaya Nurai is a private island and of course can only be reached by boat, which starts from Saadiyat Island. The journey takes 12 minutes. On arrival, you will receive a welcome drink before you enjoy the wonderful pool and the white sandy beach. There are 32 luxury villas on the island, each with its own access to the beach. If you just want to relax on the beach for a day, you can buy a day pass and feel like you’re right in the Maldives under umbrellas.

Great Beaches in Abu Dhabi: Corniche Public Beach
The promenade that stretches from the city center to the Arabian Gulf is 8 km long and has one of the best beaches in Abu Dhabi. Here you can find cafes, and restaurants, rent a bike, stroll along the promenade, or admire the coastline. The public beach offers free access and plenty of space. Most visitors bring blankets and umbrellas with them. The beach is clean and safe. There are lifeguards, showers and changing rooms. A little off the beaten track you will find beach volleyball and soccer fields. Admission is free.

Great Beaches in Abu Dhabi: Emirates Palace Beach
This one of the great beaches in Abu Dhabi is located directly at the legendary 7 * Emirates Palace Hotel. You are expected here with pure luxury. Many leisure activities and water sports are offered here right on the beach.
Adults 320 AED (100 AED credit for Cascades restaurant) and Kids 4 to 20 get in for 160 AED with 50 AED back as credit. At weekends, adults are 425 AED and Kids 210 AED without a dining voucher.

Great Beaches in Abu Dhabi: Al Bateen Beach
At 8 km, this beach is the longest of the beaches in Abu Dhabi, but it is also the quietest and therefore very popular with locals and families. Here you can watch how the fishermen pull their catch on land, play beach volleyball, hire a kayak or SUP, or simply relax while looking at the Hudariyat Island or the Hudariyat Bridge.
There is a separate area for women (entrance fee) and changing facilities. Lifeguards are on site.
There are around 100 parking spaces.

Great Beaches in Abu Dhabi: Yas Beach
Yas Island is known for families and leisure activities and of course the Formula 1 racetrack, but at the beautiful Yas Beach you can relax and enjoy a wonderful sunset. Many water sports enthusiasts, such as kite surfers, also come here. There is an adults-only pool party here every Friday. If you are a guest in one of the Yas Hotels, you have free entry.
