The Liwa Safari takes you to the famous Liwa Oasis

One of the largest green vegetation and dates plantations flourished in this area with a rich wildlife presence. Liwa consists of about 50 individual oases.

According to the first historical records at the beginning of the 17th century, the Liwa Desert was populated by Bani – Yas Bedouins, from which the ruling families of Abu Dhabi and Dubai emerged.

An episode of “Star Wars” was shot here

The “Empty Quarter” was the location for an episode of the world-famous film “Star Wars”.

The border with Saudi Arabia is only a few kilometers away.

This is where our Liwa Safari takes you. Admirable is the beautiful vegetation of the oases amid breathtaking, up to 120-meter-high dune formations.

We will also visit the fortresses, castles, and the “Biggest Garage in the World”, the Emirates National Auto Museum in the middle of the desert right on the highway.

The Emirates National Auto Museum Abu Dhabi is the big private car collection of Sheikh Hamad Bin Hamdan Al Nahyan. Even if you are not a great car expert, you will see after a minute that the Sheikh is a very enthusiastic fan of cars, and you will also be very much impressed.

In a green oasis, we sit down for lunch and a short break before we take the way back to Abu Dhabi.
